What is ADHD?
ADHD is a chronic behavioral pattern characterized by in attentiveness, impulsivity, and hyperactivity.
It ADHD inherited?
ADHD is one of the most strongly inherited of all psychiatric disorders. If a parent has ADHD each of their kids has a 50/50 chance of also having ADHD.
Isn't ADHD caused by bad parenting?
Bad parenting such as being overly permissive or overly harsh does not cause ADHD. ADHD is not a learned behavior.
Can foods make kids hyperactive?
Sugar does not cause hyperactivty. Artificial coloring, flavoring, or natural salicylates do not produce ADHD or learning disabilities.
Over 80 percent of individuals with ADHD have one additional disorder, over 50 percent of individuals with ADHD have two additional disorder
